Fixed with KEIL inserts and a BWM structure, HIMACS façade in S728 – Alpine White successfully passed the ETA tests (European Technical Agreement).

HIMACS supports sustainable interior fit-out projects by contributing to SKA Rating criteria, helping create healthier, more efficient, and environmentally responsible spaces.

HIMACS is certified with Indoor Air Comfort GOLD, confirming its outstanding contribution to healthy indoor spaces through very low emissions and compliance with the strictest European indoor air quality requirements.

HIMACS meets European fire standards with low flammability, minimal smoke, and no flaming droplets, ensuring maximum building safety.

HIMACS panels (12 mm thickness) meet the requirements of Class B1 (schwer entflammbar) under DIN 4102-1. This German classification confirms that the material is difficult to ignite and suitable for use in interior architectural applications where reduced flammability is required.

HIMACS can contribute to LEED-certified building projects by supporting credits related to low-emitting materials, material transparency, and responsible sourcing. Contribution depends on the overall project design and documentation.

HIMACS is manufactured in facilities certified to ISO 14001, which defines requirements for environmental management systems. This ensures that environmental impacts are systematically monitored and reduced through resource efficiency, waste management, and continuous improvement processes.

HIMACS is certified under the GREENGUARD Gold standard, which verifies that the product meets stringent limits for chemical emissions. This certification is recognized for use in sensitive environments such as healthcare facilities, schools, and other spaces where indoor air quality is a critical consideration.

HIMACS can contribute to DGNB-certified projects through its environmental performance data, including the availability of an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) and compliance with indoor environmental quality requirements. Evaluation is carried out at the building level.

HIMACS Alpine White S728 complies with EN 45545 requirements for railway applications, achieving classification R1 HL3. This indicates suitability for interior components in rail vehicles under high hazard level conditions, with controlled fire growth, smoke development, and heat release characteristics.

HIMACS is certified under the Marine Equipment Directive (MED) in accordance with Modules B (EU type-examination) and D (production quality assurance). This certification confirms that the material meets fire performance requirements for marine environments and is manufactured under controlled and audited production processes.

HIMACS panels are tested and certified under the M1 Emissions standard, which measures the release of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) from building materials. The M1 rating confirms that HIMACS emits very low levels of indoor pollutants, supporting healthy indoor air quality and making it suitable for offices, schools, healthcare facilities, and other sensitive interior environments.

An Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) transparently reports objective data about products' environmental performances from a lifecycle perspective. HIMACS is committed to manufacturing eco-friendly products by conducting environmental impact analysis throughout the entire lifecycle of the products from product planning and manufacturing to post-use recycling.

An HPD is a standardized report of a product's contents and associated health information. LX Hausys assures material safety with full cradle-to-grave lifecycle assessment of HIMACS products.

HIMACS production facilities comply with OHSAS 18001 standards, which ensure that occupational health and safety risks are systematically identified, managed, and minimized. The certification confirms that hazards are controlled, safe working conditions are maintained, and employee health is protected throughout production processes.

Production of HIMACS follows ISO 9001 standards for quality management systems. This certification ensures consistent product quality through controlled manufacturing processes, traceability, and continuous improvement practices.

HIMACS surfaces are non-porous, resist bacterial and fungal growth, and can be thoroughly cleaned. The LGA Hygiene Seal certifies that HIMACS is suitable for hospitals, laboratories, and other hygiene-sensitive spaces where microbial resistance and easy maintenance are essential.

HIMACS meets NSF standards for materials in contact with food and potable water. This certification confirms that the product is safe for use in kitchens, laboratories, and other environments where hygienic surfaces are critical, ensuring compliance with strict public health and safety regulations.

HIMACS can support BREEAM assessments by contributing to criteria such as indoor air quality, durability, and responsible material selection. Its role is evaluated within the context of the overall building specification.
