HIMACS receives new certifications for its recycled content colours

Following the launch of its 2026 colour additions earlier this year, HIMACS continues to strengthen its offering of responsible material solutions with SCS-certified pre-consumer recycled content to extended to further colours across its collections.

Among the latest updates, M633 Aurora Sage from the Aurora & Marmo collection now incorporates 6% recycled content enhancing its refined, stone-inspired aesthetic with iadded sustainability. Within the Solids collection, S235 Urban Sage and S236 Lafayette Green now both feature 8% recycled content, supporting their use in contemporary, nature-inspired interiors.

In the Terrazzo range, Q107 Terrazzo Selva stands out with SCS-certified recognition for  significant 25% of pre-consumer recycled content, a notable advance in integrating greater levels of recycled material while maintaining the performance and visual consistency expected of HIMACS.

These latest updates reflect an ongoing and transparent committment to the environmental profile of the HIMACS portfolio. As part of this continuous development, the percentage of recycled content may evolve over time across selected colours, which will be reflected by updates to the HIMACS website, along with all other  key technical information.

This commitment is also reflected in another important milestone. HIMACS has now achieved the Eurofins Indoor Air Comfort Gold certification, the highest level of Indoor Air Comfort (IAC) certification, reinforcing its suitability for environments where indoor air quality and occupant wellbeing are essential. Recognised as one of Europe’s most demanding standards, the certification confirms compliance with the strictest VOC emission criteria, identifying products with the lowest emissions in their class.

With its non-porous, homogeneous composition and the absence of VOC emissions, formaldehyde, silica and nanoparticles, HIMACS is designed to support cleaner and healthier indoor environments. The result is a durable, hygienic and high-performance surface solution trusted for demanding contemporary architecture and interior applications.

By offering an evolving product range that is enhanced with recycled content, together with verified health and performance credentials, HIMACS continues to provide specifiers with a reliable and forward-thinking material option for the finest in contemporary architecture and interiors.
