A HIMACS Oasis by Nothingstudio and Hüest at Marbella Design & Art

HIMACS solid surface, shaped by the expert hands of the prestigious interior design agency Nothingstudio, will be participating this year in Marbella Design & Art, one of Spain’s biggest annual contemporary art and design events. From 2 to 12 November, an exciting space designed by Nothingstudio and sponsored by Hüest (a member of Sumeplast) will be treating attendees to a captivating explosion of textures and colours.

Installed on Stand LD8, the composition conceived by Angelina Sanz (the creative mind behind Nothingstudio), in collaboration with Hüest, has found the perfect connection between nature and technology, establishing a harmonious and highly sensory atmosphere. Based on the concept of “Oasis”, this space delivers a burst of organic textures and colours, reminiscent of desert dunes enclosed within a mantle of peace and elegance in a wilderness for visitors.

To make this project a reality, the selection of materials was based on a premise of combining craftsmanship, and quality natural materials, with the precision and versatility of HIMACS. The infinite ability to thermoform and mould HIMACS, as well as the wide availability of textures and colours, meant that an amazing production was possible for this project.

In view of the desert theme of the space, the chosen HIMACS tones feature shades inspired by volcanic rock from the Volcanics range, the elegant hues of Aurora (part of the Marmo Collection) and the magnetic Emerald, from the fantastic, ethereal Lucent range. One of the most distinctive characteristics of the Lucent Collection is its translucence, which lets designers play and experiment with light. Here they have endowed this project with an incomparable immersive, sensory nature.
