During Milan Design Week 2025, HIMACS solid surface took centre stage with HI MAZE, an immersive urban installation located in the iconic courtyard of Fabbrica del Vapore, which captivated its many visitors. An installation in HIMACS designed by Studio Cappellini Design at the FABBRICA DESIGN WEEK 2025 in Fabbrica del Vapore | Milan Design Week | 8-13 April 2025 HI MAZE is an immersive installation conceived by Studio Cappellini Design and made entirely of HIMACS solid surface. From April 8 to 13, 2025 — during the always highly anticipated Milan Design Week, which attracts visitors from around the world— the 'urban labyrinth' will be open to the public in the outdoor space of the Fabbrica del Vapore.

This spectacular property, situated in one of the main arterial routes of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, boasts panoramic views of the ocean, the beaches and the harbour. The complete renovation, carried out by Nayra Iglesias from In Out Studio, has given this apartment a new lease of life, transforming it into a vibrant residence that is both in touch with the natural environment and adapted to the specific requirements of its owners, including their beloved dog, Sora. Smooth and elegant HIMACS surfaces add practical beauty to the bathrooms, which are intended as an oasis of well-being.

The annual student design competition at Rycotewood Furniture Centre in Oxford is always a stimulating exercise in creative exploration and 2024 was no exception. From more recognisable pieces of furniture to concepts bordering on high art, these intrepid young minds were on fire when it came to pushing the boundaries with HIMACS.

LX Hausys is set to make a return to BAU in 2025 for the first time in a decade. Ever since automatic coffee machines appeared on the scene, the coffee world has experienced a revolution that continues unabated. MARO Coffee Engineering is a new start-up responsible for a new shift toward a fully digital machine that guides the uninitiated user to make coffee like a barista. This is the MARO Model 1. Max Grimm, MARO’s CEO says, ‘We're transforming the coffee world with our new luxury coffee machine’. To bring this project to life, they decided to work with HIMACS, given its high performance, advanced technology and stylish appearance.

Created by Dutch design studio Opstals Interieurmakers, this kitchen in a private home in Susteren (the Netherlands) is a real celebration of eclectic combinations of finishes, textures and materials. The painstakingly perfected configuration plays with contrasts and interlocking pieces, for a bold yet balanced result. HIMACS was utilised in the design for the surfaces of the two L-shaped islands, and combined with copper cabinet fronts, brighten up the entire room.
