Circle: A bespoke freestanding washbasin shaped by ANG and HIMACS

Uniqueness and exclusivity characterise the essence of the Circle freestanding washbasin by Portuguese bathroom brand ANG. A project in which HIMACS plays a central role: Circle emerges from the integration of the HIMACS RCB330C countertop washbasin and a custom-made column available in a wide variety of materials, creating a sculptural composition defined by a contemporary design language.

Conceived as a personalised piece made exclusively to measure, Circle interprets and gives form to individual design visions. Each unit takes shape through a direct dialogue with the architecture and interior design of each intended setting, adapting to specific requirements, whether in residential spaces or commercial environments. The Circle project represents a truly bespoke design element, where material, compact proportions and detailing are precisely balanced.

This is a furnishing solution capable of transcending its primary function to become an expression of style and personality, transforming the bathroom into a distinctive and characterful space.

ANG selected HIMACS Solid Surface for the project, and adopted the RCB330C countertop washbasin model as its main reference allowing its essential aesthetic, together with the material’s renowned performance, to guide the entire design process.

The Circle’s washbasin element can be produced not only in the classic Alpine White finish but also in any colour from the HIMACS palette, including shades from the Calacatta, Gravilla, Aurora & Marmo and Terrazzo collections, and can be customised in size, ensuring maximum flexibility and optimum adaptation to specific project requirements.

The washbasin may also be specified with an integrated towel holder, a solution designed to enhance functionality while maximising spatial organisation.

Complementing the washbasin, the freestanding column is available in a wide selection of finishes and materials, including wood, stone and metal, as well as decorative patterns and textures that enrich the element with dynamic visual character.

The HIMACS RCB330C model, as with the complete HIMACS washbasin range when specified in Alpine White, is SCS-certified thanks to the inclusion of 8% pre-consumer recycled content, offering a more sustainable choice without compromising long-term performance and reliability.

HIMACS solid surface is distinguished by its exceptional resistance, thermoformability, hygienic properties, safety and practicality, as well as being easy to clean and repair. Its non-porous structure and seamless finish prevent the accumulation of dirt and significantly reduce the risk of bacterial or fungal growth. Furthermore, its composition is free from silica, formaldehyde, VOC emissions and nanoparticles, ensuring the confident enjoyment of a safe material.
