The Principessa Stool: A new design in HIMACS with a playful and versatile spirit

To produce the graceful, flowing curves that so strongly define the character of the Principessa Stool, a material capable of being moulded into extreme, yet ergonomic shapes without sacrificing strength or surface uniformity was needed. HIMACS met this requirement with its advanced Ultra-Thermoforming Alpine White formula: a special solution designed for such exacting specifications, with superior thermoplastic properties that ensure a durable, luminous and immaculate finish, while enabling pronounced curvatures.

The structure of this versatile piece of furniture comprises four 12 mm thick slabs which are thermoformed prior to assembly, ensuring a continuous geometry that enhances its sculptural DNA.

Ultra-Thermoforming Alpine White, with its resistance to water and atmospheric agents, also allows the Principessa Stool to “live outdoors”, making it a desirable accessory for gardens, terraces and poolside areas. This special formula, part of the HIMACS Advanced Series, is also a responsible choice with enhanced sustainability, containing 8% SCS-certified recycled material.

The Principessa Stool is further distinguished by its eye-catching colour combinations. The pure exterior in HIMACS Ultra-Thermoforming Alpine White can be paired with a choice of three deep, rich primary shades painted to the interior of the stool in Earth, Olive or Sunshine, allowing for creative colour harmonies and contrasts and enriching any space with a touch of lively personality.
